Alexander Mofya is a Minister of the Word with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and a deep commitment to serving humanity.
His passion for helping orphaned and vulnerable children grew through his work with USAID-funded projects implemented by organizations including John Snow, Inc., Jhpiego, and the Institute for Health Measurement Southern Africa.
Serving in transport and logistics roles—including Transport and Logistics Assistant, Transport Officer, and Driver—he supported antiretroviral therapy programs in communities across Zambia. Through this work and his travels, Alexander witnessed the difficult realities facing vulnerable families. He saw children leave school because they lacked basic necessities such as learning materials and other essential support.
These experiences inspired Alexander to establish The Alexander Foundation: to help ensure that poverty does not deny a child access to education and that young people receive the skills, guidance, and opportunities they need to build dignified and self-reliant futures.

Creating opportunities for young people to prepare for dignified and self-reliant futures.
Supporting children and youth in ways that can strengthen families and their communities.
“I believe that when we educate a child and empower a young person, we transform families and strengthen entire communities. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and realize their potential.”
